A seminar titled "Cultural Degeneration and Youth" was held at our Vocational School of Social Sciences.
Sociologist and Family Counselor Gülşen Canpolat was the guest speaker at the seminar, which was organized under the coordination of Nursel Tokgöz, a lecturer in the Department of Audiovisual Techniques and Media Production. During the seminar, which saw high student participation, Canpolat comprehensively addressed the issue of cultural degeneration within the context of youth, family, and society; she emphasized the need to remain open to change and development while upholding our values, customs, traditions, and culture. At the conclusion of the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özalper, Director of the Vocational School of Social Sciences, expressed his gratitude to Gülşen Canpolat and made remarks regarding the importance of the topic. The program—which the students enjoyed and requested to be repeated—concluded with a Q&A session where students directed questions to Sociologist and Family Counselor Gülşen Canpolat.
