In-Service Training on the Bologna Course Information Package Was Held

The “Bologna Course Information Package In-Service Training,” organized for the Department Bologna Coordinators serving at our Vocational School, was conducted with a presentation by the Unit Bologna Coordinator, Lecturer Dr. Mehmet Gül.

During the training, participants received detailed information on the fundamental principles of the Bologna Process, the preparation and updating of course information packages, the definition of learning outcomes, the structuring of course content, the calculation of European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) workloads, and the mapping of course learning outcomes to program outcomes.

The training also emphasized the importance of preparing course information packages that are up-to-date, clear, and compliant with Bologna criteria. Key considerations for department Bologna coordinators were discussed using examples, alongside explanations regarding the review and updating of course information packages and the coordination of efforts at the departmental level. The in-service training aimed to contribute to the more effective execution of Bologna processes, the establishment of consistency in implementation, and the strengthening of quality assurance in educational activities.

This in-service training aims to make significant contributions to the more effective conduct of Bologna processes within our institution, the establishment of consistent practices across departments, and the strengthening of the quality assurance system in educational activities.
