A seminar on "Disaster Awareness and Volunteering"—held as part of the Disaster Management course offered as an elective across the university and our vocational school—was conducted by Muş AFAD Provincial Director Veysi Kaya at the Prof. Dr. Sebahattin Zaim Conference Hall.
The seminar began with a short theatrical performance by students from our Civil Aviation and Cabin Services program and concluded with a multimedia presentation by Provincial AFAD Director Veysi Kaya.
The presentations covered topics such as the disaster and fitness-oriented training courses located at the AFAD Muş Provincial Directorate complex, projects designed to facilitate the participation of individuals with disabilities in disaster response and post-disaster relief efforts, and the volunteering process and its importance.
