The Vocational School of Social Sciences organized a "Clean Campus" event to raise awareness about environmental cleanliness and a green natural environment.
During the event—which was attended by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Fethi Ahmet Polat—Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Ulaş Çaydaş and Prof. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ, Vocational School of Social Sciences Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özalper, administrative and academic staff, and students conducted a cleanup of the campus grounds. Rector Polat, who participated in the cleanup alongside the students, expressed his gratitude to Vocational School of Social Sciences Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özalper—the primary organizer of this environmentally conscious event—and to everyone else who contributed. He also called upon all students and staff to be more sensitive and attentive regarding this issue.
The event began with the taking of a commemorative photo and concluded with the disposal of the collected waste into trash containers.
