Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Fethi Ahmet Polat, visited the TV studio and media practice unit of the Department of Audiovisual Techniques and Media Production at the Vocational School of Social Sciences.
Rector Polat was accompanied during his visit to the renovated studio and control room by Secretary General Harun Demir; the Director of the Vocational School of Social Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özalper; Deputy Directors Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Dündar and Lecturer Abdullah Demir; and the Head of the Department of Audiovisual Techniques and Media Production, Lecturer Mehmet Demirel.
In this studio and control room—designed to meet the standards of a professional TV channel—the department conducts its practical courses, allowing students to learn the requirements of the profession through hands-on experience. Polat visited the studio while a class was in session and listened to the students' requests. Noting that the existing technical infrastructure and facilities are found at very few universities, Polat expressed his satisfaction that this studio has been fully established for our University.
