"Life-Saving First Aid" (*Hayat Kurtaran İlk Yardım*), a book by Nihat Demir—a lecturer at the Muş Alparslan University Vocational School of Social Sciences—has hit the shelves. Demir based the book, published after a period of meticulous work, on the concept of informed first aid—a sensitive subject regarding which public awareness is largely lacking. " 'Life-Saving First Aid' is a practical book that will benefit both our students and every segment of society," Demir said. "Our people are helpful by nature, but providing assistance in an informed manner is a virtue. I hope my book contributes to a virtuous society." Assoc.
